All the heads were made with bouncy rubber beach balls, which were covered with papier-mâché and then sculpted with CelluClay.
Originally, the heads were painted in different colors that went from red, to blue, to orange and pink. We wanted to make them fun and colorful, but then changed them to reflect the different skin tones of the diverse community that is Worcester.
