Made as our way to honor the Syrian refugees that have settled in Worcester. Syria has been a cradle to civilization for at least 10,000 years. Family is the heart of Syrian social life. Syria’s cuisine reflects influences of Greek, Mediterranean, Southwest Asian, Turkish and French cuisines. Syrian art primarily features geometric designs and calligraphy, while folk music uses the Oud (a stringed instrument), the flute and lap-held drums.
